Nature & Faces Winners 2019
Yes, we have a winner! The Nature & Faces adventure of 2019 was a wonderful one. One filled with tons of new talents and surprises! This year we from ArtisA (Art is ArubA) had zero idea on what the prize would be so after some brainstorming, we decided to give out a brand-new iPad air 2019.
After closing the competition on the 15th of September 2019, the appointed judges, Darren of 4d Photo Bar, Ayrton of ARTN Photography & May of May Wong Photography quickly went for the search of the top 5 Nature and top 5 Faces for the expo at the Aruba Art Fair. It was not easy as the quality of the photographs was amazing. So the organization had to step in to help untie this messy situation. With no one knowing who is who it was fun to see the organization giving that extra vote.
The Finalists
On the 22nd, 23rd & 24th of November 2019 during the 3rd Annual Aruba Art Fair the EXPO of Nature & Faces took place and boy, a lot of people voted! Everyone was talking about this competition and wondering who and why these images were shot. After 3 days of voting the ballot was closed and we quickly started counting the votes. Two days later we already knew who the winner was and we decided “Lets announce the winners through our sister project Aruba Christmas Fair which took place on the 14th of December 2019.
When we told one of the judges Ayrton about our plans, he told us: wait I want to give out a free photography workshop and I scored a little present for the 10 finalists from Sams! So, on the 14th of December at 4 o’clock the FREE workshop was given by Ayrton and the finalists enjoyed it!
